Those few words above are just a snippet of who I am. My entire identity is connected to the freedom I have through Jesus Christ and His sacrifice. For most of my life I felt that my identity depended on performance (grades, good kid, sports, work, etc.), but I found freedom in who I am as His daughter. I am HIS and it feels soooo good.
I am a wife to my absolute best friend. In middle school, my mom told me that she thought this cute brown haired boy was a nice kid and asked what I thought of him. In my sports obsessed head I said he was too quiet. lol. Fast forward to senior year in high school… we were set up for the homecoming dance and were literally inseparable after that. Fifteen years later, he is still my best friend and the most amazing husband and father.
I am a mom to 4 little tater tots. They bring me so much joy and I can’t get enough of them. Actually, sometimes I need breaks. lol. But my family is what drives me. They are my biggest calling and what the Lord entrusted to me. Family is also one of my biggest WHYs for my business. Our desire is to see families enriched. The Lord placed adoption on our hearts and we feel strongly that the Lord will use my business to help in this area — through prayer, through encouragement, through relationships, through financial funding, etc.
I am a friend. The desire for relationships and community is engrained in our DNA. We are relational beings. I am an enneagram 1, wing 2… and that 2 wing is strong. My friendships are sacred to me. You are seen, you are cherished, you are loved.
I am an artist. I love to create and inspire whether that is through photography, paint, or design. The Lord gave us so many beautiful details to cherish. It sets a fire deep in my soul to create beauty and reveal those moments of heaven that most may miss in the hustle and bustle of life. Beauty is everywhere if we will only look.
I am a dreamer. Visionary was my #1 strength on the strengths finder test. Not only am I am passionate about chasing my dreams, and encouraging my husband and kids to run after theirs… But I love to call out the dreams in others. I see you. I know you can do it. And I am going to be your biggest cheerleader, but also push you to see the very best in yourself. You have a destiny way bigger than you think and I am going to press in and pray and walk beside you until you have it.
